Final Challenge: Create a Public Service Announcement
Final Challenge: Consider everything you've learned from Wonder. Think about a lesson learned from the novel that you'd like to share with others. In your final challenge, you will plan and film a Public Service Announcement (PSA) to share with your peers.
What is a PSA? A PSA is a message shared with the public with the purpose to raise awareness and/or change the public attitudes and behaviors towards an issue.
Watch the following PSA examples to better understand their purpose and structure. Ask yourself, "What message is it sending?" You'll notice that each PSA is different, but they have one thing in common - they're all sharing a clear message. In a PSA, there should be a clear message (what you want people to know) and a call to action (what you want people to do).

You're ready to plan your own PSA. Continue using the Explore the World of Wonder handout to get started.
You may use the resources within this WebQuest to help you choose a message and plan your PSA. Use the buttons below to return to any of the tasks in this WebQuest. You will film your PSA after thoughtfully completing an outline.
Turn your outline in when you are done. A time to film will be scheduled shortly. For now, please CLICK HERE to complete the WebQuest feedback form. Thanks for your honesty!
